Hi!
My name is Nishant.
I’ve lived and worked between the UK & India.
l live in London now.

I make photographs, work with responsive spatial sound and dream of making more films. I like to imagine my personal work in the context of installation and experience.

My current work addresses notions of surveillance both imagined and literal: how we often find security in being "watched" - either via a faith-interred "all-seeing eye" or “consent-based” data collection - and how we negotiate the anxiety that emerges from that awareness.

I direct Lake in Deptford, London, a gallery I’ve established for the creation of multi-sensory works that explores the connections between sound, image and space.

I’m not always this serious and fairly approachable by email.
If you would like to work together, feel free to reach out to me >>
